Katadyn Vario Water Filter uses the best two microfiltration methods- ceramic and pleated. A simple turn engages a ceramic prefilter for longer life in dirty water to a pleated glassfibor filter in normal conditions. The dual piston technology provides maximum output with minimal work. Water always tastes fresh thanks to the Ultra-fast flow and carbon corel. The adaptor base attatches to a water bottle or output hose can be used to fill hydration systems or larger containers.
